I found someone as great as you

You are the first man I proudly looked
up to;
I remember as a child wanting to marry
someone as great as you.

You are my father, The man who provided
for us;
I remember the thought as a little girl just
how great you was.

There wasn't a man tell my husband who
took a stand in my life as much as you;
And still just as much today I'm thankful
for everything you do.

I know I probley didn't turn out quite what
you wanted me to be;
And often there are times when you look at
me I wonder who, or what you see.

I messed up a lot it's true, But dad I tried a
little to;
When you took me down that isle you gave
my hand to a man as great as you.

My life's ambition was that you give me away;
And I replay each, and every step we took
still today.

You and my husband are the greatest men I'll
ever know;
And I hope you never forget just how much I
love you so.

To my father the greatest man I ever new
